Age: 23
Height: 193 cm
Weight: 88 kg
Birth place: United States of America

Alexander (23, 1.91) attended Creighton College from 2017 to 2020, surpassing 1,000 points scored, ending his college experience with a 17 point average, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and being named to the All-Big East First Team.

Last season, Alexander signed a two-way contract with the Phoenix Suns and made his NBA debut in December 2020 against the Sacramento Kings.

Last season, Alexander averaged 0.6 points and 0.7 rebounds in 15 games with the Suns.

In G League, his stat line was 9.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

The general manager of Virtus Paolo Ronci commented: “Ty-Shon Alexander is a young player with great prospects who have already gained experience in an important franchise like the Phoenix Suns.

His arrival allows us to complete the roster with characteristics useful in the immediate future and at the same time with a perspective of the future development of our team. It was a market operation in the club’s plans, not dictated by the need to replace Mannion, also because Nico has, fortunately, no need to be replaced.”

“I am looking forward to joining this group of great talent and great players,” Alexander said. “It is an honor for me to be part of Virtus Segafredo Bologna. I am ready to showcase my talent and experience special moments with my teammates, coach, and fans.”
