Virtus Segafredo Bologna beat Pallacanestro Pesaro, 92-83 (27-14, 29-22, 16-26, 20-21), to get the second pre-season victory.

Virtus came out strong from the opening minutes. The Italian champions made a 21-4 run, thanks to Jaiteh, Pajola, Weems, and Alibegovic. After 10 minutes of playing time, the result was 27-14. In the second quarter, Alibegovic continued his successful performance on the court and helped Virtus increase their advantage even more (38-21). Belinelli, Hervey, Abass joined the Bosnian and the margin reached the highest point (47-23). After the first half, the scoreboard was showing 56-36.

In the third quarter, Pesaro team found some answers for Virtus performance. They managed to cut the deficit to 10 points (72-62). In the last 10 minutes, they pushed even harder and fully restored the intrigue (84-78) with 2:45 minutes left to play. However, Ekpe Udoh made a couple of important buckets and Virtus got crucial stops on the defensive end that secured the victory.
