Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul started their 2021-22 campaign with a victory over Yalova Group Belediyespor 88-77 (16-24, 31-16, 26-23, 15-14).

Yalova started the game better, as they were up by 8 after the first quarter (24-16). However, in the second Fenerbahce organized a run and took control of the game. Teams went into halftime with EuroLeague contenders being up by seven (47-40).

In the third quarter, Fenerbahce increased their lead even more and finished the contest with a comfortable victory.

Nando De Colo, Marko Guduric, Tarik Biberovic, and Pierre Henry (playing in AfroBasket 21) did not participate in the game.
