According to a report from Nicola Lupo of Sportando, the Russian team UNICS Kazan is showing interest in the American guard Jamaal Franklin, who spent several years in China. Franklin is considering the possibility of playing in the EuroLeague next season with the uncertainty surrounding the situation of foreign players in the China Basketball League.

Last season, Franklin averaged 24.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 9.4 assists per game with Shanxi in the CBA. Other players who spent last season in China have already made the move to the European market, including Donatas Motiejunas, who joined French AS Monaco, and Ekpe Udoh, who will play for Virtus Bologna next season.

For Franklin, this would be his first experience in European basketball after spending several seasons between China, NBA, and Puerto Rico.
