The French center is in final negotiations with the red and whites, according to the report by Mozzart Sport.
Mathias Lessort (25, 2.06) has already played in Serbia's capital. He was a member of Crvena Zvezda in the 2017-18 season when he won the Serbian league championship.
A well-traveled big man played for AS Monaco last season helping them win the EuroCup. Lessort averaged 12.5 points and 6.1 rebounds in 24 minutes of playing time.
Throughout his career, Lessort has been named to All-EuroCup First Team (2021), All-EuroCup Second Team (2019), and Pro A Sixth Man of the Year (2016).
Lessort was drafted in the second round (50th overall pick) of the 2017 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. Currently, his draft rights belong to the New York Knicks.
