Olympiacos Piraeus announced the addition of the American guard Tyler Dorsey. The deal is for a one-year.

Last two seasons Dorsey (25, 1.96) played for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv. Last year in the EuroLeague, he averaged 11.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, mostly coming off the bench. He scored a career-high 30 points (in 27 minutes) in a win against Real Madrid on January 21, 2021.

In the Israeli Basketball Premier League, Dorsey registered 11.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists on average in 13 contests. The shooting guard is a two-time champion in the latter competition (2020, 2021).

Dorsey has already played for the Greek national team in the past and has a Greek passport. After leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dorsey explored the NBA market but didn't find suitable options, so in the end, he decided to accept Olympiacos' offer.

Dorsey was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 41st overall pick of the 2017 NBA draft. He then signed a 2-year contract with the Hawks. He played 104 games (16 starts) in the NBA between Atlanta and Memphis and has career averages of 6.7 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 1.3 APG.
