Hereda San Pablo Burgos have announced the signing of the Hungarian guard Adam Somogyi. Both sides agreed to a one-year contract, with an option to extend it for two more years (1+2).
Somogyi had already played in Spain during the 2018-19 season. He was a member of a third Spanish division team, Innova Chef Zamorano.
The 1.93 m guard spent the last two years in the Hungarian Basketball League. He averaged 6.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists over 23.1 minutes last season. Somogyi is also a member of the Hungarian National Team.
Two-time Basketball Champions League winners Burgos will kick off the upcoming BCL season on October 4, with a home game against Besiktas Icrypex.
