"In the last game, the turnovers were a big part of it. To go from 24 turnovers to just 11 is a lot better. Our bigs won the rebounds and extra possessions that we probably wouldn't have gotten without them doing that good. A good win, against a good team," said the Utah Jazz forward after the game.

Australia's NT coach Brian Goorjian emphasized the importance of defensive effort and focus.

"Defensively, that's been a focus of this team, of this group of guys, of going somewhere on the defensive end of the floor and improving from what it's been in the past. Tonight in the second half, as in the last game against Nigeria, the defense was the determining factor. We just really locked them down in the fourth quarter and defended really well," said Goorjian after a hard-fought game.
