Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz and the Lithuanian forward agreed to a contract extension that will keep Sedekerskis through the end of the 2023-24 season, the club announced on Tuesday.

Sedekerskis (23, 2.00) averaged 3.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 32 EuroLeague games last season, his third in the competition. He scored a career-high 11 points (along with three rebounds and four assists) in a win against Khimki Moscow Region on February 18, 2021.

Sedekerskis arrived at Baskonia in the 2013-14 season, playing for the lower division teams of the club. After spending few seasons on loan, he gained Dusko Ivanovic’s trust and gradually earned a bigger role on the main roster.
