The head coach of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul Igor Kokoskov going coming back to the NBA, Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports.

According to the report, Kokoskov already signed with the Dallas Mavericks and will be traveling to the States later today.

The Serbian coach will be an assistant to a newly hired head coach Jason Kidd and reunite with Luka Doncic. Kokoskov led Slovenia national team to EuroBasket gold in 2017.

Kokoskov took charge of Fenerbahce prior to the 2020-21 season. The Turkish club advanced to the playoffs after finishing 7th in the EuroLeague regular season with a 20-14 record. Later, Fenerbahce lost the quarterfinal series to CSKA Moscow 0-3.
