Tofas Bursa have announced the signing of guard Kasey Shepherd. The 2020-21 Basketball Champions League playoffs MVP signed a one-year contract with the Turkish team.

Shepherd played for Nizhny Novgorod last season. The 27-year-old averaged 18.2 points, 4.8 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 17.4 PIR over 29.6 minutes in the BCL. He was also selected for the BCL Star Lineup for his performance. 

The 1.90 m guard accumulated 14.8 points, 3.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 13.0 PIR over 24 minutes in the VTB United League.

Nizhny Novgorod advanced to the BCL quarter-finals, where they were eliminated by Casademont Zaragoza. They were also eliminated 2-1 by CSKA Moscow in the VTB quarter-finals.

Shepherd's new team, Tofas, will compete in Group F of BCL next season. They will face SIG Strasbourg, Filou Oostende, and the winners of Qualification Rounds No. 3.
