CSKA Moscow agreed to terms with Alexey Shved, per BasketNews sources.
According to sources, the length of a contract might be up to three years.
Shved, 32, signed a three-year contract with Khimki Moscow Region last summer. But the Russian star hit the free agency since Khimki is out of the VTB League the following season.
Shved was the top scorer of the Euroleague the last season, averaging 19.8 points per game. He was also the second most efficient Euroleague player (PIR 19.6), adding 3.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
The winner of multiple Alphonso Ford top scorer trophies began his career with CSKA Moscow in 2006. He left CSKA in 2012 for the NBA, where he spent three years with Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets, and New York Knicks.
Evrostavka first reported the news about Shved heading to CSKA.
