Power forward Akil Mitchell and Pinar Karsiyaka have signed a one-year deal.

The 29-year-old spent the last two years in Israel. He represented Maccabi Rishon and Gilboa Galil. Prior to that, Mithcell spent time in Italy (Trieste), France (Boulazac, Antibes), and Australia (New Zealand Breakers).

Mitchell has also been a part of two G League teams: Long Island Nets and Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Last season, the 2.06 m big man averaged 15.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 21.1 EFF in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.

His new team, Pinar Karsiyaka, will compete in Group B of the Basketball Champions League. They will go up against Arged Bmslam Stal, Baxi Manresa, and Hapoel Jerusalem.
