Greek champions announced on Twitter about a contract extension with their captain Ioannis Papapetrou. The deal is for two more seasons.
Ioannis Papapetrou (27, 2.06) has been with Panathinaikos OPAP for the past three seasons. He had a career year last season by averaging 12.1 points (2nd on the team), 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. He scored a season-high 22 points in a win against ALBA Berlin on December 17, 2020. Papapetrou's career-high 39 points were also scored against ALBA in an overtime loss on November 14, 2019.
