The team that finished the EuroCup group stage with a 2-8 record last season has strengthened their roster with Italian point guard Tommaso Laquintana.
25-year-old (1.88) played for Allianz Basketball Trieste last season and helped his team to a 14-14 record and a berth in the Italian League playoffs. Laquintana averaged 6.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
“I can finally say that I am going home!" said Tommaso Laquintana in an announcement released by the club. "I have traveled a lot in the course of my career, but I consider Brescia to be my second home. When I signed the contract, I was really excited. I spoke to coach Alessandro Magro to thank him and obviously, I thank the club who wanted me and the many fans for the affection they have shown me.”
